Food For Our Grandmothers: Writings by Arab-American and Arab-Canadian Feminists.
In 1994, Joe edited Food For Our Grandmothers (South End Press). The first anthology highlighting Arab-American and Arab-Canadian feminist writing, it joined an outpouring of activist and cultural work by women of colour.
Because South End Press closed its doors in 2014, this book is no longer in print. Hence the decision to make it available as a free PDF.
Food For Our Grandmothers uses Joe’s pre-transition first name. When citing the book, please use his current name – Joe Kadi.
